2012-2025: Tech Entrepreneur, CEO & Founder – Conversion Marketing

Founded Conversion in 2012 and scaled it into a leading digital marketing company, developing proprietary technology platforms and reaching €2M+ annual revenue, a 40+ multidisciplinary team, and a strong enterprise client portfolio.

In October 2025, I exited the business by selling my stake to the majority shareholder, Dante International SA (eMAG) — one of the largest tech and e-commerce groups in the CEE.

Under my leadership, Conversion evolved from a performance marketing agency into a technology-driven organization, owning and operating proprietary platforms:
• “Profitshare – affiliate marketing platform”
• “Conectoo – enterprise-grade email & SMS marketing infrastructure”
• “Cookiebox – GDPR-compliant cookie consent management platform”

Served enterprise and institutional clients across banking, insurance, FMCG, retail, telecom, and technology, including eMAG, BRD – Groupe Société Générale, MedLife, Banca Transilvania, NN, Oriflame CEE, UNICEF, Microsoft Education EMEA, Syngenta, Danone, CyberGhost VPN, and others.

Responsibilities included company strategy, P&L ownership, M&A discussions, governance, enterprise compliance, leadership of senior management teams, and oversight of proprietary technology platforms.

2008-2012: Head of Interaction – Mediaedge:cia (now WaveMaker), second largest media agency network in the world. Started MEC Interaction (digital division) from scratch in Romania and guided it to no. #1 online media agency on the market in 3 years time.
Leading a team of 10 digital experts covering all range of specialised services (digital strategy, media planning & buying, social media, client acquisitions, search engine marketing, analytics & insights, mobile, creative, etc).
